Charisma is a fantastic ranch horse. Ive used her on our guest ranch and for moving cows for four years now. She has a big walk, lots of stamina, and is great on cattle. Once she has a job, she really knows how to go to work. Shes got a lot of heart in a small package. She trailers, shoes, stands tied, and is easy to catch. Ive done quite a bit of arena work with her as she started out as a 4H project. Shes soft of the leg and leg yields easily. She also side passes, and moves of the haunch and shoulder. She is also very familiar with dropping her head and traveling with it below her withers. I have too many horses and need to get rid of some to make room for new ones. I absolutely love riding her when I really need to get some work done. I recommend her to an intermediate to experienced rider as she sometimes gets surprised and jumps. I wouldnt necessarily call her spooky, but she can move quick if youre not sitting in the middle. I feel safe enough with her to carry a five-year-old double in front of me though so she is very gentle. Mostly, she needs a home where she has a job and consistent work. Honestly, she would work for you until her legs gave up. Ive used her in extremely rough country and steep mountains and always choose her as my mount when I go to work.
